Funky Flo began in 2016 on a quiet street in Shirley, just a stone’s throw from Trinity High School in Addiscombe. What started as a passion for transforming ordinary spaces into extraordinary celebrations has grown, year after year, into one of the most trusted luxury event styling companies in the country.

From the very beginning, we were rooted in community. South London is one of the most beautifully diverse corners of the world — and that diversity shaped everything about how we work. We have always catered for every culture, every tradition and every vision. Nigerian weddings, South Asian celebrations, Caribbean birthdays, intimate English anniversaries — if it matters to you, it matters to us.

We won’t pretend the journey has always been smooth. Like any small business, we have faced our challenges, adapted, reinvented and come back stronger. That resilience is woven into the fabric of Funky Flo — and it’s why, nearly a decade on, we are still here and still growing.

Today we are proudly based across South London and Manchester, with a dedicated team of ten and hundreds of events behind us. But the heart of what we do has never changed: we show up, we listen, and we create something that takes your breath away.
